I may be in the minority but this solves my problem with most rolltops. This is lightweight and has a side access that is not easy to grab stuff (safety from theives feature) Really liked the review!

I would not get the hajo. I'm a lefty and the access is even less convenient for me. It looks great but I agree it doesn't have great access. But you wouldn't have to worry about things falling out. The side zipper is small enough to make to easier to keep your items contained. But I won't buy one.

I refuse to believe there is a dominant side to a backpack ❤

@hubbiemid6209 it's called convenience. For me, the zipper is on the wrong side. I'm so tired as a lefty to have to adapt every single time to everything geared to a right handed person. So that's why I explained as the principal reason I would not buy. I said nothing about what you are talking about. So I don't understand why you said that.

I don’t own one, but I like that Evergoods offers mirror versions of their bags so you can access the side pockets however you want. No having that option would definitely make me hesitant to buy a bag like this as a leftie

Great Video! I dont want to sound disrespectful, but you need to hire someone taller in your team, jajajajaja. So we can see what the backpacks look like on a 6 ft+ person,😂😂😂. Other than that love the content.

@Nomads.Nation I meant no disrespect, my wife is 5'2, and I am 6'1, when we bought the diaper bag, it looked very different when she wore it vs when I wore it. I wanted something bigger if not it looked weird on my back, we had to compromise in the end, jajaja. P.S. Never been to Hong Kong, but its on my list, so will let you know. Keep up the good work. 👍

Nice vid! Any plans in reviewing the ATD Supply backpacks, not many people know the brand, but holy the made a great back with the ATD1, still after 2 years it's my fauvaorite, going from 22 to 55L imo is crazy for everything.

How is the quick access zipper when you have a water bottle on that side? It also looks like that internal elastic loop is for a bottle, but seems redundant when you already have two compartments on the outside. When you actually do fill up the sides, it looks like it takes up internal bag space, since the outer compartments are not elastic.

you are correct - the back pockets stow away the water bottle holders, so if you have two Hydrolock's engaged you won't be able to use either pocket

Great review. Love the fabric and the look. But as you rightly said, the functionality is compromised - for the top pocket, the bottle pockets, and side access to the main compartment. Especially the side access will be difficult if one also has a water bottle on that side. Will skip it in favor of other much better EDC backpacks and the Fyro.

its def a bit more form than function, but has a great look to it (and that fabric is a game-changer for the right use-case)

I like how it looks, I hate velcro tho.. But. Over $100 and just a 2 year warranty? Hmm... Osprey offer their almighty life guarantee on all bags, even the cheapest they make. Does it matter? Maybe.. maybe..

I think roll tops made sense before fabric and zipper materials evolved. I find newer materials as water resistant if not more. But the fabric does make this really cool for a use case specific bag. Would fit right in on the streets of SF or Manhattan.
