I'm a wagonist too!:) I've actually got the same wagon (van according to TOYOTA), but a four-door. It's the last iteration/facelift of the #E7# series and was in production till 1987 and was primarily built for commercial purposes. Mine's an '86. It's bone stock but she's being restored to 'factory original' condition...not commonly seen nowadays! I love how I can just drop the rear seat and make it into a flatbed!

Thanks! It's got a 4K gasoline engine with about 80BHP. I'm in two minds about the engine swap though; I want it to be factory-original, but I'd love some more power as well! The engine found on the CE7# is the TOYOTA 1C which is a very basic and underpowered powerplant! The updated version is the 2Cwhich has 1800cc and is not turbocharged, but there are several iterations of this engine as well. Look around for TOYOTA Hi-ace and town-ace vans with these engines if you're after parts.

He was the first (and currently last) person to win D1 in an AE86 in 2002 and second D1 winner, The first ever person who won D1 was Nobuteru Taniguchi in 2001 in an S15.

My friend's got an 85 Corolla. Definitely not a fast car or an easy car to make power out of, but it's fun as hell with a welded diff. :)
