These guys asking questions are so far removed from this sport at its core, its laughable. Continuing to ask him questions about how much of a lovable, fat beer shoe drinking goof he is, and if he is somehow surprised about the outcome and going on and on about the dumbest shit is an insult to these fighters. They cannot seem to understand that even if he is a lovable goof at times, it never takes away from his vision, his preparation and just how serious he takes his career. They have assigned him this role he clearly does not fully subscribe to and you can tell he is trying to change that narrative they created for him.

I absolutely love Tuivasa. Love his heart. His ferocity. His power. But now that he’s with the top 5, which he should be now, he’s going to need to tighten his game up. He’s been matched with brawlers. Once he starts fighting the likes of Gane, Stipe, Volkov, fighters who take time, are methodical, he may have some issues. Unless he can close distance, and drag them into his territory. Once Tai gets in close, he gets fighters to play his game, which is straight out slugfests. Wild exchanges. And he normally gets the better of those. He has devastating power.

@@dicksuekkerre4326 yes mate couldn’t agree more, the gane KO was never questioned, because it wasn’t as heavy a KO rather a precise striking clinic compared to Tais. But to say he should retire is madness. Tai caught him on the jaw and it was lights out, it’s not like he was absolutely completely smashed and needed medical attention he was conscious again within seconds😂 people literally don’t know the game, it’s not boxing in mma literally anything can happen it’s just part of the game, if mma was like that there’d be very few fighters still active lol

This fight reminded me of the so-called invincible Jerome Banner first running into Mark Hunt, then Ray Sefo, the Samoan nightmares.. Now Lewis losing to Hunt and then getting folded by Tuivasa.. The Samoan boys are not to be taken lightly.

I was part of the crew that shot the promo for this match in Dubai. To be honest, I didn't know who Tai was, even tho I watch an unhealthy amount of MMA... Over the two days of shooting I got to know one of the nicest, real, down to earth guys out there. I wish I lived closer to him so we could just hang out and drink beer. Well done Brother.
