Thanks Guru, love the content. I had an interesting thought watching the Dustin/Justin fight. Had to pause, stand up and shadowbox to feel the mechanics. I'm a novice striker at best, so bear with me: Dustin has classic boxing technique with beautiful movement patterns and combinations. What I mean by classic is, he throws his left punch off of his left foot, meaning he uses his left foot to draw power from the ground, pulling back with his right shoulder as he throws the jab. Then switches his weight to his right foot, throws his right punch off of his right foot. Very powerful, almost like a battering ram, with lots of ingrained patterns and movements. Very much like Dominic Cruz's footwork. Justin, on the other hand, has perfect balance and understands angles and weight distribution very intuitively. He makes creative decisions in the moment and changes direction effortlessly. When he throws his left punch, he pushes off his right foot, using the left leg only as a pivot, but the right leg is drawing the power. So the energy changes direction slightly through his hips and torso, giving him incredible control over where he lands his punches, and the angles and are better and the distances traveled shorter, so they land faster. Then he pushes off the left leg to land his right punch, controlling it with the right leg and hip. It's like a whip, lashing around a pulley, but with a steel ball bearing attached to the end. Very fast, very impactful. Adesanya does this too, McGregor used to as well, back in the day. Might be something used more in Muay Thai, I'm honestly not sure. Justin's left leg kick is lightning too. He almost does a little switch, but it's like a forward hop to the right leg and then just bashes it in. Awesome performance, fun card.

Love you analysis, MMA Guru. And since you said in a recent video that you're trying to get fighters names right, let me help you woth the Brazilians ones: Priscila's last name (Cachoeira ) is pronounced Cashoeira (ch = sh) Gabriel's last name (Bonfim) is pronounced Bonfeem (i = ee)

Bobby green is such a weird fighter because he looks so good in moments but you put him in fights with a step up in competition and it’s not the same
