UFO is one awesome classic rock band. To me, they were always about Phil Mogg's great rock voice. Michael was great, but not a reliable band mate. Vinnie is a extremely talented guitarist and an excellent replacement for Michael. Going to see them in Phoenix in a small club on March 21st 2016. ...Looking forward to the show.

I have loved this song since my youth and I'm 59 now. I don't care how bad of a mood I am in when I hear the opening of this song I get very excited and know that I'm in for one hell of a ride on the earcandy express. The one thing that's unforgivable is that KZitem put a commercial smack in the middle of the song instead of at the beginning and let the song play all the way through. This thoroughly pisses me off. I consider it very bad business practice of KZitem only not the band. As they say great knows no end.....

Looking forward to seeing them on March 19, 2017 in Vegas at Mandalay Bay with Saxon. I've gotta drive 5 hours but it'll be worth it. Does anybody know approx. how many fans attend these Heavy Metal 'Wacken Open' festivals, and were are they located? I once saw UFO open for Aerosmith and Van Halen at the L.A. That's correct. I am a bass player and lead singer of a band that played Rock Bottom almost identical to the original score. These guys are definitely great musicians, and they have the spirit of the song. Except for the exaggerated lead solo and ending it's pretty close beside the keyboard. Just my 2 cents worth on the subject... L8tr

Incredible version of this song. Unbelievably good solo by VM. The dynamics of a long solo like that are difficult to carry off, and he does an exceptional job of that. Why is it that guys with great technical ability are labelled as somehow lacking passion or soul. You can see he's into it... plenty of passion in this solo. Michael Schenker is a great guitarist, one of my favotites....killer tone and attitude, but I have never seen or heard a better live guitar solo on this song than this one. Phil sounds great, Andy and Paul play great. I miss Pete more than I miss Michael......... just sayin

Seems they trasposed it down a whole tone to D. I guess Phil's voice has darkened a bit with age. But generally he sings better now than in the 70's, at least the heavier stuff. Nice to see Andy Parker behind the dums, but I'm missing Pete Way on the bass, and this guy seems a bit absent minded, Vinne Moore does a good solo job here, and he has a very good guitar sound as well, playing most of the solo on the neck pickup. I've been a bit sceptical to Vinnie in the past, thougt he was overplaying and didn't like his sound, but this is tasteful. You don't sit during the solo longing for Schenker, although this is one of his trademark songs. Saw it performed live here in Sweden first time back in 1976. That was even before the template for the live performance of Rock Bottom was established on the Strangers in the Night album.
