Okay...can anybody please clarify the 360 degree part. If one is at top, it's only a matter of turning around physically and one can have 360 degree view.

enlightenment or self realisarion is a spectrum of knowing not the end ultimate result as it is perceived. So there are many people who got enlightened since last several thousand years and everyone added his unique idea to the process of knowing..... and it wd keep on evolving with time ....

@@buzzkill808raven2 enlightenment is just synonym of process of knowing hence wisely said there is no enlightenment to attain. Process is journey , it can never be attained , destination is attained . And there is no such destination as enlightenment

The thing that drives us to despair is this idea that we have to be anywhere other than where we are at this moment. It creates a schism we cannot bear

@@buzzkill808raven2 At knowledge level what i know today , i was not knowing yesterday . Which means there is a journey of my knowing . But there is no destination to this journey , because when you know everything still there is a lot left to know . Ug is saying there is no ultimate destination to be achieved in the process of knowing which is wisely said. This process of knowing is enlightenment , every step in ladder is enlightenment and there is no final step in ladder.

We cannot conceive of the inconceivable because we have no frame of reference. We are informed by the culture that bares us. I think that's the poverty of language.If someone asks you questions about enlightenment ,you have to answer in the same language.To me there's no such thing as enlightenment ,because whe have no referencepoint .

When U.G. says "There's no such thing as Enlightenment." He means the concept of how we view Enlightenment is false and made up for spiritual marketing. Hence the reasoning behind why he prefers to use the term 'calamity' over Enlightenment. To him, being enlightened isn't a big deal but more of something humanity has forgotten, due to all of the garbage that has been placed into our minds, which has blocked us from being what we are designed to be; Enlightened. So essentially it isn't a big deal. But people blab, yap and talk about it as if it is, when in actuality, it is not.
