Hi man, I grew up in a little town in eastern Poland, actually like 20km away from the border with Ukraine. And as kid I lot a lot of stuff what you have tried in this video. Which is saying that eastern Polish and western Ukrainian culture are so similar (Lviv was a Polish city back then before war). I always loved the cabbage rolls (gołąbki), we made it with rice and meat, then cooked it for like 3 hours. It was delicious with some kind of soft tomato sauce (tomato concentrate and cream). The “palacinkas” (naleśniki) was just Crêpes mostly filled with sweetened cottage cheese, with vanilla aroma. I also liked to eat this chicken meat Gelatine thing, sometimes there was some carrot and green beans inside it, to make it tastier you need to drop little vinegar on it, and black pepper. Borscht (Barszcz) always, always delicious, like one guy wrote, in restaurants we serve it inside round bread. It was also nice to eat it in the summer bc it was cooling you a little (if I’m right). Yeah this video brought me back to my childhood, i miss this food. Not because we are not doing it anymore, it’s because I’m living in Switzerland and I’m not so often in Poland, in my hometown region… 😳🥲 #StayStrongUkraine
