Ohh, Audrey and Sam. This video really made me cry. I was not aware of how much I missed the Cafés in Buenos Aires. The medialunas, the alfajores, the sandwiches and of course the amazing atmosphere which you can't find anywhere else in the world. I love the cafés and bars in Vienna. Paris, Rome and Barcelona or other great cities with a tradition. But I have never experienced something more amazing, comforting and lovely like those cafés in Buenos Aires. 1mil hugs&kisses for sharing this with us 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖. Many greetings from Germany.

I lived there for a year and one of the best experiences in my life... I was supposed to go in 2020 but had to cancel due to covid... Thankfully the borders are going to open in november... So definetely I'm going to visit Buenos Aires in 2022!!😍

The coffee, or el café con leche, at El Residente looks rather delicious, and so does the coffee mug look ever so beautiful for that coffee shop! I've drank coffee in mugs such as those at a few local coffee shops in Springfield, Missouri. Sam's café con leche at Tostado looks rather delicious just the same as well. You say that Tostado is a contemporary breakfast restaurant; similarly, I myself have had a contemporary mindset for my life compared to my parents and stepparents and their parents.

Saludos

Nice, that was thorough! Though I still think you could have shown our classic tostado, since the one served in Argentina is quite different from the typical grilled cheese sandwich you would get in the US, mostly because of the type of bread, which is thiin, fluffy and with no crust, pretty much resembling the one from the Italian "Tramezzino". Anyone visiting Argentina should try them some time!

I was installing a new manufacturing facility in Portugal. We had the Portuguese people come to the United States for orientation. And for the most part, they didn't like the place. That came as a surprise to us. When asked why, the common answer was, "you have lousy food". It was true then and it is still true today. Some of the best and most memorable meals I have had in my lifetime were in Portugal near or in Lisbon. And good wine was a given. At one place at least 100,000 self-signed name-tag ID cards were hung on everything. The blank cards came with a stick pin and a ladder.

yes , cream cheese is more common. You can get butter now in restaurants but before that would only be in hotels. Butter is still not that common in SA, for example you can get a big baguette sandwich of ham and cheese but dry as hell because they don''t butter the bread so beware of that. Maybe in US it is the same but in UK always butter first and then mayo if you want or mustard etc.
