i will admit that is a nice antenna although mounting it below the roof of the rig make it more directional. meaning you will pick up signals better from that side ane the rear. and the signals from the passenger front direction will be weak or nonexistent. i would recommend a dome style antenna on top of the rig for better reception.

6x6 vehicle is good for long term bugout situation. Several weeks, several month, or even more than a year bugout is possible in 6x6 vehicle. Why? It makes possible to load more luggage. Load capacity is increased with more wheels under the cargo space. You can install a roof rack and load more luggage on it.

6 wheel drive.... wellp just understand how 4 wheel drive works and add another 2 wheels to the ass end.... like honestly it probably just uses a singular transfer case so it can shift in and out of 4 wheel with a driveshaft between the back wheels connecting the 4 back wheels together, would be interesting to know the gear ratio of the transfer case it couldn't be from a normal 4x4 cause that would probably break under the stress of the additional 4 wheels only thing i could think is if it was a transfer case out of a semi truck or something like that

Or the gasoline runs out (Did they even mention if this was a diesel, or not? It probably isn't). Or someone noticed these vehicles, due to their shiny red color, along with the Mall Ninja "COVID-19 Quarantine Unit" painted on the side, and a real Survivalist takes them out, just based on principle.
@petermiddo

@@erwin643 the gas (petrol) or diesel running out isn't a bit problem, the vehicle gets parked and used as a basis for shelter & a settlement. It's the storage of solar power for when the sun doesn't shine (like at night, particularly) I think the ideal would be to find a flowing, perennial stream with enough flow to create a hydro-powed set up, but most modern materials and even tools are designed with obsolescence in mind.... it will only be the truly creative that will survive.
@erwin643

@@petermiddo True. You mean like the people who own older 1980's to 90's diesels with filtration units, who will still be running their vehicles on filtered versions of used ATF, motor oil, etc., long after the gasoline runs out or gets too old to use? BTW, my favorite Docu-Drama posted here on KZitem is "After Armageddon." Near the end of it, it shows what someone did with a VW van with a big sliding door (for real, obviously, used as a prop in this film). They gutted out the interior and built a giant rack system, for large-scale summertime dehydrating (I've used the dashboards of one of my pickup trucks quite a bit for dehydrating, over the years)!

Can you put this truck on a lift? I want to see the under carriage. It's a guy thing. You always look underneath the skirt. Just curious to see how that axle setup is. Looks like a front axle swapped into the rear with possibly a inverted steering system. I would like to see how that's connected along with the drive lines.
