Got 2023 pro and love it. I wish they continued their architecture cad or develop cheap BIM software for the people.

@@MrLelopes yes. They could make license managing better by central server. Now, moving license requires logging off from one machine and logging in on the other manually or using local license server. That's why I got USB key and carry it with my car keys :)

@rogalewskip I am pretty sure there are lots of things to improve. But I am glad that a big channel is bringing options and calling out our attention for the subscription problem. All I ever see is youtubers hiding this problem, so to continue bringing more unadverted audience. I get it that the success of their business is made on the success of the software, but it is denying their responsibilities to inform properly and to help bring the industry to the right path. Architects don't need to be held hostage of an annual fee for the rest of their lifes... we already have taxes and the government for that.

@@MrLelopes right now there is a graphisoft/Autodesk monopoly/hegemony. There are some alternatives but not very popular. Chief architect, archlinexp (kinda archicad clone), edificius, allplan, vectorworks. Still too expensive. Looks like graphisoft gave up archicad start and ditched the small company market. There is some hope in Revit Lt but it's way to castrated to be very useful.

What about dynamic blocks that have been created in Autocad? If you open them in GstarCAD are they still editable? Can you further edit them to expand their functinality or you have to start from scratch?
