enjoying your play some comments for the Dev's. Create algorithm's to correct 1. Troops march through ponds , lakes, etc. during battle like they are not there. They should have to go around. a. skirmishers may cross shallow swamps at 1/2 speed , if ponds 1/2 speed and 1/2 defense and can't shoot back. ARTILLERY 2.Artillery shooting on the edge of woods into open terrain; normal fire but increased defense. a. Artillery shooting from inside/ through the woods; - 40% effectiveness b. Cannons shooting up hill decreases range: from the top of hill increases range but there should be a shadow in the area directly under the guns. 3. Skirmishers should be much more effective in the woods, mountains, and rough terrain, you should be able to train Skirmishers up to be irregular combatants, then Scouts. Theses troops could hold forts west of the Alleghenies and be effective forest/mountain fighters. (preferred weapon Pennsylvania long rifle). 4. Calvary should be more effective in open fields less effective in any other terrain.
