JFK's sister was actually far more tragic than described in this video. She was pretty much a "wild child" by society's standards in those days (going out to party, her friendships and interests, et cetera), so her father and mother basically committed her and had her lobotomized, thinking it'd make her more demure and like a woman "should be" back then. The tale of the lobotomy itself was even more horrific: they had her recite something (I think it was a verse or song) as they were sawing at her brain until she couldn't do it anymore. They later admitted they "cut too deep", so they still believed it was a valid medical procedure but they went too far, screwing up the results. In the end, a vibrant, free spirited woman (which would be a normal woman in our time) was reduced to an invalid, incontinent, barely conscious shell with the mentality of a five year old at best. She literally just laid in her bed or in a wheelchair, drooling, until she died decades later. And her family? They hid her away to keep the shame of their actions out of sight, out of mind/to maintain their reputation.

6:13 This happen to a friend of mine. But that photo was much more intmite. The photo they was on he was a scout leader 16 years old, and his to be wife was 10. The was sitting right next to each other around a camp fire, literally arm to arm. The was going to the same camp 10 years later, and meat each other again, but then both as scout leaders. One of here then leaders kind of thought here new boyfriend looked kind of familiar. Start digging in old photos and found it. That was not the end of the story. Forward 3 more years at there weeding. They unknowing there friends have made a video slide show, it was really simple. It just started with the dude on the left, 0 years old, and a black square on the right... next image, the dude 1 years old. black image on the right. one for every year.. 5 year old, black image on the right. Now ... 6 year old, and a new born picture of his to be wife on the right. 9 more pictures, one for every year. Then for the 16:th picture, there was only one, Him sitting to the left, she sitting right next to him on the right. next 9 pictures was again two pictures, him om the left, she the right. The last picture. Really the most amazing of them all. Same camp fire as 10 years prior, same place, him on the left, here on the right. The diffrance being, now they was just in love. They just meet for the second time a few days prior at the same camp. The scout leader had sort of fooled the to the same location to take the image neither of them knowing they both been at the exact same place prior. And it was not like they was from the same part of the country. no, no, no, they was from totally different parts of the country, and the camp was in turn in a 3:rd corner of the country,

5:50 The Medal of Honor Citation of now retired Lance Corporal William Carpenter states: "The president of the United States, in the name of the congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Lance Corporal William "Kyle" Carpenter, United States Marine Corps, For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while serving as an Automatic Rifleman with Company F, 2d Battalion, 9th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 1, 1st Marine Division (Forward), 1 Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom on 21 November 2010. Lance Corporal Carpenter was a member of a platoon-sized coalition force, comprised of two reinforced Marine squads partnered with an Afghan National Army squad. The platoon had established Patrol Base Dakota two days earlier in a small village in the Marjah District in order to disrupt enemy activity and provide security for the local Afghan population. Lance Corporal Carpenter and a fellow Marine were manning a rooftop security position on the perimeter of Patrol Base Dakota when the enemy initiated a daylight attack with hand grenades, one of which landed inside their sandbagged position. Without hesitation, and with complete disregard for his own safety, Lance Corporal Carpenter moved toward the grenade in an attempt to shield his fellow Marine from the deadly blast. When the grenade detonated, his body absorbed the brunt of the blast, severely wounding him, but saving the life of his fellow Marine. By his undaunted courage, bold fighting spirit, and unwavering devotion to duty in the face of almost certain death, Lance Corporal Carpenter reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service." Also after his retirement he enrolled at the University of South Carolina in Columbia and received a degree in international studies in 2017. He also co-authored a book in 2019 about the events leading up to his becoming a Medal of Honor recipient. *RESPECT 100/10*
