18:38 I understood what sir is tryna tells us, for instance if you live in Hyderabad you must have heard of Nilofer Cafe, who sells just a cup for tea for 50rs and it's being Apple (iPhone) of chai market and most of us won't even realise this cafe run because of there branding premium

Me for sure. Absolutely inspiring. This is like the best conversation I've seen in a while, I remember watching that conversation with James Caan years ago. But this has definitely changed the way I view sales and how I should view the world. Corporates make you believe sales is all about numbers, they fire people based on number of sales without training or fixing the input metrics even though a lot of people work hard. This conversation has actually touched my heart and it has touched it hard. I generally don't comment on videos, this may be the first after many years. Amazing questions by the interviewer, good stuff. Have been starting a business and this has changed the way I'll be running it, change in business model, change in the world. Can't thank you guys enough.

Amazing Podcast. I work in a big PSB as a marketing officer, this podcast had a lot to offer me about how to approach my daily work. Sales is hard folks whether it's in a private or a public company. Although we in PSBs are recruited in all India exams as a generalist officers, sales is something that never leaves us alone being in BFSI industry, we have to willingly or otherwise graduate to that role. So I would say these lessons about empathy, enthusiasm, repeatability the contrast of sales badhana vs sales karna the value of relationships and good work ethic are all very valuable. I will keep revisiting this particular episode. Thank you Mr. Jaimit and Mr Adarsh.

He convinces me that being a good teacher can make you good at sales. I have always found sales daunting although I enjoy serving customers, enjoy consulting. I am from Bangalore - a product person, but at heart, I am an artsy person - a Mumbaikar - kahaani mangta hai. This is truly a masterclass on sales and marketing in the simplest language - a mini MBA. Btw, Aditya Birla Group was a client I enjoyed the most in my Focus Group discussions - the HR head was awesome and talking to the sales newbies and meeting the leadership in operations, this is one company that build people grounds up. It was thrilling to build the learning and talent development solution. So, I get his style.

The only thing they capitalised on was people jumping on bandwagons for franchise models. I am a chai lover but I hate yewale chai! It sucks! Please don’t call it apple atleast.

I understand what he is talking about coming from the retailer family, The more time you can rotate your stock, the more fresher stock will be there. Having too much stock became liability. My father used to stock for 6 month now i have reduced it to 2 months , we eliminated dead stock problems, and now, on the way of doing faster rotation.

The interviewer's side of the conversation is lagging. The lip sync to response is not right. Please edit that properly. Overlap his response of video with audio.
