First, with today being Veteran's Day, I give you thanks for your service to our great country. And, I love this video, Mike. I've been putting off making a set of sanders and I'm glad I did. My time is worth more to me than the cost of Ken's product. Thanks for supporting other turners with great videos.

Mike - ironically enough I was just debating on getting this system last night. Glad I came across your video. It helped me make the decision

I've been using this system for over a year. It it convenient and fast to change grits. Ken is a wood turner and knows what we need. He is continues to expand his product line. I've bought many products from WoodturnersWonders; they've always performed up to my expectations. He and his company stand behind what he sells which is a big plus in my book.

I really liked what I saw when you visited Ken’s shop. When I start turning bowls his system will be something that I’ll get for sure.

Great video Mike. Love my sanding setup from Ken. Got it in record time too. Ordered over a weekend and Ken e-mailed pretty soon thereafter thanking me for my business. Great system i think.

Thanks for this. I'm new at turning. After watching your video, I ordered this system with the sander. While waiting, I've turn two ash bowls to try it on. Fred

I got on Ken's email list a few months ago. He just had a sale on the Wonder Weave Premium sanding discs. I ordered the 2 and 3 inch discs and the Ultimate Sanding Kit earlier in the week, received them today. It looks like a well made system. Can't wait to try it out. This video led me to Ken's web site and the purchase. I'll probably have to wait until Christmas for the CBN wheels, but they're on my list! Thanks for the recommendation.

Hi Mike , I think this looks like one of the best sanding systems I have seen .I just have one problem in the us the item is 59.95 but for me to have in down here in the south pacific the cost is us$75.00 for shipping and US$91.00 for the item that makes it around NZ$166 .for me it out of my price range .If I had the spear cash I would be right into it.What a good system . Again a great piece of information mike.

I agree. For that cost I would have to consider local alternatives or consider fabricating.

Nice review Mike. I also have been using this system for a while and love it. I use Ken's ProNet series of discs which seem to last forever! Great combination. I also found Ken to be great to work with and am looking forward to seeing him at the Mid-Atlantic Woodturner's Symposium in Lancaster PA next month. Check out his T-shirt in the video! I highly recommend Ken and his products.

Mike ... I went with Ken's system this spring ... consider it an excellent investment. If the budget (and you air compressor) allows, his pneumatic sander is a real nice addition to your sanding arsenal ... low profile, palm-actuated, variable speed, and can be used either with conventional mandrels or the Roloc system.

I like that Ken's system uses a 1/4" round drive shank rather than the hex shank on some other systems. I use a re-purposed die grinder for a friction sander. The round shank will work perfectly for me. I have a few of the roto-lock mandrels from my auto repair days. I thought about fabricating a sanding system much like Ken's, but if everything is already available in a kit, why bother. I've watched the tour of Ken's shop and I'm sold. I'll be ordering my kit as soon as I save up enough from my allowance. ;-D LOL!

Good video Mike. Good info, but it sure does sound like one of those tv paid advertisements. I do value my time and I'm sure if i working at turning not doing it as a hobby my time would be worth more. I do understand the frustration of building something just to find i need to modify or chuck it and start over again and that system you are demo-ing sounds just like whats needed. Once i get more into turning (my 2 day weekend turning) I probably will look into this more. Thanks for the info. Keep making your videos they are informative.

Fwiw, i didn't think it sounded like a commercial as much as it sounds like Mike really enjoyed using the system. I feel the same way - only been turning 2 to 3 months now and got the system from Ken. I don't regret it at all. Huge time saver and I'm getting a better finish than i was by hand. Happy turning!

The problem with that system is that you can only sand in one direction
@roberthornwoodturner

Tighten the rolock just a bit and sand with light pressure and it will work in the reverse. I do it all the time, at least on the finer grits.
