No you don't, no intimacy in your room and impossible to bring friends/girlfriend because of camera notifications. Imagine if we give those techs to dangerous parents/partners easy to check if they're home and to punish them if they're not

I think the Eufy is the best quality video on a doorbell cam. 2k and local storage.. no fees and works with google ecosystem. 😊👍🏽

Okayy.. soo ... I use : Notepad for notes My mind to remember some major events (also tv news reminds you those special events) I usually clean tables with cleaning cloth, and i use that good ol manual vacuum. For lights i just turn them on by pressing the button. I do have cameras installed but wowww man that's really creepy to install cameras everywhere. Yeah, that's pretty much it

Starting my smart home adventure. Going the google/nest rout. Looking into smart things hub for there window/door sensors, how is smart things and google/nest as a pair? Any lag? Can you use just one app to control everything?

There are apps like stringify for better integration but SmartThings can give you that one app feel for most of it. With the Nest Ecosystem the Nest app is really the best

Everything bus costly... share something which is of minimal expense and maximum usage. For smart bulbs. You can use globe .. no hub required and just 10$ Canadian per bulb.. easy Haan..m.using that.for.controlling I hv.google.minis...

You do have several nice things, but this is definitely not an ultimate smart home. It's a nice little DIY setup, but as a professional integrator, I can tell you there is a LOT more out there.

There is a lot more out there but Ultimate Smart Home is a series name. For the average consumer things like Control 4 and the professional integrator stuff is not accessible to the average consumer. This is also a video for products I use every single day. You can deck out a smart home with everything in the world but guarantee that person uses 5 products (if that tops) on a everyday basis.

Danny have you ever tried webCoRE? I have my whole house setup from this, it can help link a lot of SH devices together, also it helps create complicated and in depth routines; something that you wouldn't get with SHA such as Alexa and Google Assistant

If you have a switchbot...I will be asking someone on youtube to show how to make a toilet flush without touching handle( COVID-19) ..by flushing with the wave of the hand in front of the door or just ask Alexa/Google to flush..No ugly wires hanging from the toilet..

Nope because it’s faster. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Googles on device assistant is what made me change. I decided to make that change when I heard the announcement at Google I/O.

I wouldn’t say it’s greater but it does have more compatibility. Also no one needs a smart fridge. It’s just awesome to have if you can afford it. Having cameras inside the fridge and managing all of its features though the app is great for a higher end connected house. It’s like saying a Lambo isn’t worth buying because a XXX is just as fast etc. It’s just about what you want and what you can afford.
