My spouse used to work at Goats 🐐 I lived on VI for 17 years. There are spots the tourists don’t know about and you can swim naked because there is nobody around anywhere. It’s a jewel of Canada for sure.

You definitely need to visit the Cpmox Valley which is the recreation capital of Canada. From beaches and forests to alpine parks and Mt. Washington ski hill. Also be sure to go to Hornby Island if you like the Hippy scene. Bit of an adventure to get there, but it earns it's nickname 'Little Hawaii"

The north of the island has some truly secluded and majestic spots -- I just posted a video showing my journey up to the north tip of the island -- Cape Scott. Check it out on my channel if you're interested!

I lived in Duncan last summer, at the time numbers were low and BC was allowing travel within the province. This video isn't mean't to promote travel right now, it's for locals of the island or people wanting to travel AFTER the pandemic. Posting rude and hateful comments on my video isn't going to make this pandemic any better, we are all going through it right now, I recommend putting your energy and time into spreading love instead of hate.
