Get ready to make this delicious wet seasoning recipe! 🍲🌿🌶️ Using a trio of bell peppers and a double dose of parsley, this green seasoning is the first step in the process of making Saturday soup and is key to adding flavour and depth to your soup.
This recipe was inspired by @TERRIANNSKITCHEN and @jodycookingg
Please note I blend my seasoning to the consistency seen in the video, you may want yours thicker and therefore blend less than me, depending on your preference.
Green Seasoning
Ingredients
Approx 8 Red and 4 green mild chillies
1 x bundle or 20g packet of Thyme
1.5 - 2 Garlics depending on size
1 lime
2 x packets of Coriander
2 x packets of parsley
1 bundle of spring onions
200ml Olive oil
1 green bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
2 -3 red onions depending on size
1 brown onion
Directions
Wash and chop all ingredients.
Add to blender
Add oil
Blend
Juice lime
Add lime
Blend
Season chicken/fish/rice
Pour remaining seasoning into silicon moulds and freeze for future use
