It would be a nice bike if you got rid of that brick on the front.

What fork is that ? i found 31 inchish from axle to top of fork, stock. my inverted forks seems to be around 28 5/8s . Wondered if it would be to low for the front end . Heard busa are the longest, still have to confirm.

Don't think that's a Yoshimura exhaust - more like a Bassani Superbike pipe.

@Mony Torris Yep, but the Yosh pipe's muffler end was much narrower. That's a Bassani Superbike pipe - and likely even more rare than the Yosh.

@@bugmoto nope, its a yoshimura series 2 pipe from the 80's. I have one for my CB750 and was told by a guy that worked at yoshimura in the day and the pipe is the exact same as this guys!

The Yosh pipes did not flare to a wider diameter in the muffler end section like this pipe. Pretty distinctive for Bassani. The Yosh pipes maintained constant diameter all the way to the tail. The drill holes also match the ID plates that Bassani attached to these pipes. And...the Bassanis are more rare to boot!

@@bugmoto Sorry but your wrong. ive done my research and as I said had a guy that worked for Yosh confirm. He now runs GP motowerks. So at first I thought I had a Bassani, but after researching came to find out yoshimura had this pipe after the series 1 hand bent pipes, series 2. They didn't produce them back in the day and sourced it through another company which was MAC back then. But I see were you might think that as I thought mine was a bassani also. Id post pics to show you but cant here!

@@mikeyt620000 I see what you are talking about. I have a '79 1000S that came with a Kerker from the previous owner. I've sourced a 750 Bassani and plan on massaging it to fit. This is my 4th GS1000, my fist was a new 1000N and I ran a black Bassani on it. Great pipes, and impossible to find these days. Ride safe!

That is a Bassani pipe with the tag removed.....I'd bet my house on it. Good pipe BUT like you said no hand bent Yosh. The carbs.....😆33 Mikuni's were the choice back in the day.
