Thanks, Paul. Consider 1/4 wave if In vertical pósitron or 1/2 wave if traditional Zep. I’ m a ham since 1971. And like very much antenna’s experimentations. Now it is more excitant with tools like Vector Network Analyzer amd other, as well. Thanks for your effort to bring light to many Hams. 73 from PP1RD (excuse for my hard english).

do I have to re-tune each time on the same band at different frequencies? or is it enough to tune once per band? how big is the bandwidth at 40 or 20m with once tuned?
@OM0ET
4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Magloops are very selective and narrowband antennas. Bandwidth is only a few kHz sometimes 5-10kHz, depends on the band. Therefore you have to tune often 😊

Hi Paul excellent all your video only one question.i want to make magnetic loop antenna with out small ring ,I want to use a ferrite core ,the antenna is for 20 and 40 meter ,what ferrite use ,mix 31 or mix 43. Ft240-?? thanks in advance Eddy from🇺🇸
@OM0ET

Hello. 43 material is widely used in RF transformers for antennas up to 30megs. I believe that would be OK for your MLA.

Hi Pavol, First, I would like to congratulate you on your work. I have seen your KZitem videos and I think your magnetic loop antenna is amazing. One question. What is the maximum and minimum distance between the floor and the tuning box? 73's - EA7HOH
@OM0ET
5 жыл бұрын
Hello Rafael. There is no limit. But in general when is antenna higher - better. Higher elevation - lower angle, better for DX. Lower elevation - higher angle, better for local stations 😉👍 73, Paul
