A 1963 french television program PS these blue subtitles are much more readable in full screen mode, i just don't know why they turned blue when i converted this video
Tjhank you so much for posting this! There are good directors, great directors and then there's Buñuel, unique

Ce qui est fascinant dans ce genre d'interview c'est que je l'ai écouté parlé sans avoir aucune idée de son honnêteté

thank you for this upload and the english subtitles. The contradiction between bunuel and his friends made me laugh a lot. Bunuel was a true genius.

"je voudrais devenir analphabete, fuir la culture un peu, il ya trop de livres...on parle trop, on a trop d' opinions, je suis un peu asphixié...mon envie theorique c' est le retour en enfance où on a pas de lecture"... it recalls me one of the last scenes in Fellini 8 1/2 where the critic says to him: "In the end what we need is some hygiene, some cleanliness, disinfection. We're smothered by images, words and sounds that have no right to exist, that come from the void and return to the void. Of any artist truly worth the name we should ask nothing except this act of faith: to learn silence."

@kayitare jean paul. Eugène Ionesco avait ressenti à peu près la même chose, à la fin de sa vie il disait qu'il en avait assez des mots, des bavardages de l'écriture et des critiques....

My last sight/Mon dernier soupir, his autobiographical book is a must read, and i'm not a reader at all.., he wrote it 1or 2 years before his passing, immense soul, wide&deep like Lynch,Fellini, Wilder and Kubrick, a genuine visionnary artist.

Para mi, su senda la siguio Pasolini, desde otro lugar, pero todavia fue mas alla....Sade, Buñuel, Pasolini....la subversion maxima 😅
