I dont know if your brave or stupid, but you really do take some big big risks, some i may say i hope others DONT copy and try... But that said you pull off unique photos and that i comment.. Maybe being a giant as you are the risks are not quite a great and most people... !

Fantastic! Thanks Gary, great video! Well, Only 5 days ago I got caught in a rain similar to this one aboard a catamaran photographing the *Beagle Channel* in Patagonia! I'm lucky enough to also use a 5D IV and L lens. Undersea equipment... got some good shots... but the front element was often wet... had to dry it often...Luana and I love your videos! Best from South Brazil.

Just a word of caution about the Apple Air Tags. They’re not GPS trackers, they’re Bluetooth relays that only work if there are other Apple devices nearby (within 10/15 metres). Perfect for tracking if you have left it in a pub or restaurant where there are other people around. No good if you are stuck up a mountain with nobody else nearby. In that case, all it will tell you is when you were last near to someone (such as in the car park, if you’re lucky).

The tag is in my bag which is never more than a couple of metres away from my phone. That’s the brilliance. My wife tracks me everywhere. I think that’s a good thing 😁😁

Love it! And yes, the ground is not flat everywhere you go. I used to hate posting on social media groups because you inevitably got the "critic" who was always chiming in with, "Straighten your horizon!". Doh, do you not think I used the level in my camera? Go somewhere else, lol. There was a picture I remember where a photographer had taken a shot of a village nestled in a little valley with mountains either side. If you looked at the buildings you could clearly see everything was perfectly upright. I think he or she had four or five people chime in about the "horizon". LOL

I see how you helped poor gareth tremendously there, by standing some distance away straight in front of him so that you became the 1st line of defense who successfully blocked the raging waves and slowed them down to mere gentle trickles as they eventually hit him, giving him just about enough reprieve to gather himself and his stuff, wow, he really should thank you! 👏😂

Very impressive. But, as I have lived along the ocean for a great deal of my long life, apparently you are not aware of the occasional hidden dangers of the power of the unpredictable ocean. Too many people have been killed wanting to be close to the ocean action. There can occasionally be huge rogue waves that roll in, washing people out and killing them on the rocks. I am not impressed by the risk taken. 😐
