I have faith in Razor. He brought on the bench at crucial times. His ability to read the game and respond is next level. Beauden was unleashed on the England side, the moment their line speed and rush defense started slowing down and look what happened. They All Blacks have been talking about showing pictures all week. Razor knew what he was doing.

I got up early to watch the ABs take on England, and to my suprise it was the ABs that could not get through Englands defense and was boxkicking and pinned in their territory. It was the magic of Beauden Barrrett individual magic and talent that turned that game around. NZ has the best players in the world but they are not a team yet. I think B Barrett needs a statue or something. From🇿🇦 #allblacks #englandrugby

I unfortunately missed this game. Is England getting better, or are the ABs not in form? Cheers from 🇿🇦

A bit of both, I would say. We have pretty high standards all around, so disappointment is expected

Kind of both. England’s had six tests before coming to NZ and had built good form and understanding of their systems. NZ hasn’t played test rugby since the RWC finals plus new coach, new systems and the traditional AB slow start to the test season. England lost because they can’t scrummage consistently and Freddy Steward is not George Furbank, who looks all the parts of an excellent international 15. I think ALB should be starting in front of Ioane. D-Mac reminds of Carlos Spencer: amazing and dynamic but just isn’t consistent enough for the 10 shirt. Ratima looked great in his time on and Newell is a monster.

The name here is Scott Robinsons. He named beauden on bench for a reason. We were in ways lucky, but i think the coach is thinking about the long game. Considering his track record

Discipline should be the priority for the AB’s (in my opinion) hope razor agrees and calculates its cost when not consistently being achieved on the paddock. That should really be a priority focus as not only does poor discipline reflect the scoreboard, it’s bad for the game of Union in general and affects our reputation.

In addition : Springbok discipline was sublime and pristine (completely opposite to their usual game, EXCEPT in their last 2 RWC finals) the last one was close but lazy discipline lost us the game. The Boks championed us on masterminding the finer points in achieving the goal.

Borthers... is not being realistic… 2 losses ... and England lost by a bigger margin today than last week which is not progress. I thought England played well but just not quick enough in thought and deed. For me the turning point came when England chipped two kicks whilst on the ascendancy in the All Blacks 22…. (in the last 10 minutes or so), both directly into the hands of the epic Beauden Barrett … why why why? Beauden turned it straight into attack. For me England lost their edge right there... and the game.
