Hey CSI thank you for the uploads. Its a pleasure to watch the highest levels of pool being played. I would like to make a suggestion, please designate the 'table level' view as the primary view and the above table and side view as secondary views. The above table view should not be used as much as it is in my opinion. It is hard for our eyes to relate to the angles and thus difficulty of shots ect from above the table being that we never see the game from that view when playing. I realise that view has been used since pool started being recorded but just because it has been used for a long time does not make it optimal. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the uploads.

I wish CSI would find some better commentators. George isn't bad but Freddie is constantly second guessing Shane's choices because he is apparently an intermediate player trying to follow what the number 1 player in the US is thinking. He and the viewers would be better served if he just tried following along and learning something new about the game. There is a reason Shane is rated #1 and Freddie doesn't get it..
@steveghisallo

In that respect I think George is far worse, and a master at ruminating over the obvious. I'm sure the most pedestrian of viewers knows what ball will be shot after the last solid. Give the viewers a little credit and let them watch without the rambling.

No, if the felt is even then the rack is tight and even. It is just a gimmick to sell. Even if it was somehow tighter, then the table and breaker are bigger factors anyway, Any time the balls travel over any kind of object their path is altered. So it is a trade between racking with wood and done verses a piece of plastic you jack with the rest of the games.

Compared to Australian 8 Ball tables these pockets are like absolute buckets, I am surprised they miss half the shots they do with pockets this big. Yes it will, because on a big table You have to be more precise, if you get out of line it's harder to run out, plus it takes a different stroke to play on a big table, as in a longer stroke,a smaller table is more about a shorter finnesse stroke, you can always adjust down from a big table to a 6foot table and still play good, but it's very hard to come from a small table to a big table, and be able to play the same!🎱

$9,000 does seem a bit low. But not as low as you might think. Winning a US football conference championship guarantees each player a minimum of $54,000 (and all of a team's players earn the same amount for each postseason game.) A football game is harder on the body than a game of pool, and takes twice as long to play. But even ignoring that the champion of this game earns 11% of what a football conference champion earns for a day's work. That's not as bad as I thought it would be. A football career averages 3 years, while a pool player's career can potentially last 30 years.
