Those titanium foot pegs gave me shivers, I once seat bounced a jump and got sent almost over the bar's, like full superman. I missed the left peg with my boot and landed with my knee on the peg! Ripped it wide open, to this day I have the shape of a foot peg scar on my knee, 15 stitches.. My knee swelled up after the stitches, looked like a baseball! Good Time's! 😂

I probably wouldn’t run the fork air bleeders, they sound sweet on paper but all the ones we have ever tried always leak oil, now they were used on a motocross track with jumps, we never had good luck with them but your mileage may vary, sweet build tho.

Since your going to enter your first race soon and itll be on a dirt bike your next build needs to be a quad. I would love to see you build a quad to compete in GNCC racing. It would be awesome to see all the things you need to do to a quad to make it legal for GNCC and then see how everything works to compete. Show us every step of the process from signing up to crossing the finish line, do it for the race with the KTM as well!

You're obvious excitement and enthusiasm about the builds You do add alot to your videos. I'm in the middle of a very similar build on a 2004 Honda CRF250X. 270 kit, complete suspension rebuild, custom wheels, everything. Looking forward to following this build series to completion. Thanks for your effort.

Mikey you'll love the 3-fitty when it's done! I bet you'll enjoy riding that more than your KX. As much as I love Kawi and am thankful they offer offroad/cross country spec bikes, they need to step it up to match the Austrian brands. Throwing a kickstand, 18" wheel and "softer" suspension on an MX bike doesn't make it a true XC bike. An added 6th gear, bigger tank, skidplate and handguards would be huge. Bought my first KTM 350 XC-F a few years ago and never looked back. Good luck with the bike and love the videos. Awesome to see you come over to the 2 wheeled side! ✌️

Im not sure what type of enduro you're going to do, but ive tried a few different tires but once i tried Michelin Enduro Medium i cannot go back to anything else! the only downside is it sucks in sand since its a FIM tire.. but on roots, stones, mountains.. it rocks!! try and you probably love it too! I live in Sweden and its almost always wet (an exaggeration ofcs) and those X31's get slippery as hell! they do well on motocross tracks since there are no roots or bigger stones that gets really slippery when moist

Those gripper seat covers are designed to work with the rubber butt patches you put on the butt area of your riding pants. Usually people put their nickname. They are a big thick rubber patch and those combined with a gripper seat cover basically glue your arse to the seat. The two combined become like velcro only stronger.

Make sure you use lock tight and torque the shift lever to the correct torque. They’re really easy to break by over torquing and if you don’t get them tight enough they will come loose. There is a serrated washer that needs to be the correct way too. I can’t remember but there may be two washers. You’ll see. But make sure it’s right or you’ll be doing it over. I actually prefer the Japanese bikes system for shift levers.

After riding the KTM for a bit i bet the Kawi 250f will sit lol. You'll be wishing you either didnt buy jt or you'll be wishing you just got the 450 instead. Those 350s are said to be like a 250f weight wise with 450 power. I guess it would probably depend on which model 350. I heard that in reference to race bikes.
