i helped a friend assemble a pcnc1100 few yrs ago,, i did the tram work ,ATC and the entire set up thru-the 4th axis driver install,, its not difficult but it is very time consuming,,, its the only mill ive ever had to assemble,,, now this is great if your goal is to set-up in a space where in pieces allows you to get it in a tight place,, BUT,, while i was assembling it we were in a big shop and had a forklift and it still took better part of a day before a made a chip,, if there was a $300-$500 option of having tormach assemble and set it up all it would be well worth the extra money,, i would consider possibly buying another if this was an option but i really dont ever want to have to assemble a mill again,, a little more money and it comes assembled, test ran and guranteed,, now that would be an excellent option for those who have the room,,, this was just a thought i had back in 2012,, cat30 that works with the ATC would also be a tremendous upgrade,, when i used it ,, it was a great mill for the money!

Thanks for commenting! ATC: We are currently designing the beta test of the PCNC 440 Automatic Tool Changer, which should begin January 2017. If you would like to participate as a beta tester, please contact us, and we will review your request. 4th Axis: We are currently developing the PCNC 440 4th Axis but it is too preliminary to estimate an expected availability date.
