I just bought the very same table and I chuckled quite a bit because your video described my build experience perfectly. I told my wife that I was just going up to the shop to put my new router table together and when I got back home she said where have you been all day? The drawings are not greaT and if there are 4 screws, 3 might be in one bag and the forth one is mixed in with 10 other bolts, nuts and clips. Good product once it’s together but I have new respect for the guys who put display models together for big box stores, lol!

The extra plug you mentioned is for a shop vac..when you turn the router on and off it also turns the vac off and on. I just assembled mine today I was dreading it there are so many nuts and bolts..I was afraid I was missing some but turns out I am good. I also bought the 1617 EVs at the same time so I know everything fits. Your video was a good "pre-assembly" view.

My Bosch router is my favorite tool. The thing has so much mass in the motor and feels so good in the hand.

Good stuff The plate is driving me nuts. I thank for talking about it being easier with the router attached I downloaded the manual so I could zoom in on some of the illustrations.

Hi - I have purchased my first router a Bosch POF 1200 AE but it doesn't appear to be designed to be used on a router table. So, quick question, which router model did you install? Thanks for the great vid.

Hi Patrick - thanks for watching. I have the MRC23EVSK. The 1617EVSPK seems to be more popular, but something (I can't recall what) led me to purchase the MRC23. I've having issues with the plunge base sticking, but otherwise, a great router. I think the 1617 can be used with the Rockler router table - the MRC23 cannot. Hope this helps - don't forget to subscribe! :) -tom

Hello! I have the same router and curious if you turn it on and off by pressing the button on a handle. When it's mounted a router table it would be reasonable to use a switch on the table. But the router manual states that it won't turn on if the router switch is pressed when the router is powered up. So, do you have to reach the router itself to turn it on while the router is mounted into the table?

Hello Igor - I locked the switch on the handle of the router into the on position and use the switch on the table to control the router. There is a little button on the side of the handle that locks it into the on position. I've not had any issues. Hope this helps.

You probably shouldn't be working with power tools if this is "challenging" and "not clear." My 10yr old son could put this together without the struggles you had... lol🤣😂

I don’t understand, why to do this assembly video and to leave out the most challenging part of finding which is the right “bolts and screws”. Doesn’t make sense. Sorry, I waisted my time watching it.

I'm sorry you wasted your time Gena. Though I am curious how I could have explained finding the right bolts and screws -- looking for your helpful suggestions on making future videos better. Thanks for the help.
