remember that glow in the dark are abrassive..so a hardend nozzle is good to use. stock nozzles will be destroyed alot faster with glow in dark. and if u can. use a 0,6 nozzle size. wont clog like on a 0,4.
@EmbIazon

That’s not entirely accurate. I actually print in glow for a number of my products (CC Tree is by far the best glow white/green PLA). It’s not the extruder that causes the issue with abrasive filaments. It’s the feed style of the X/P AMS and getting into the extruder. Something about the angles that causes additional friction, and when that happens, the filament stays where it shouldn’t, cools down, and clogs. You should 100% be using hardened steel nozzles, but if you use glow PLA with an A1/mini and the AMS Lite, it will not clog. I exclusively run glow through my Mini with the AMS Lite and have yet to have a single issue through a multitude of glow rolls. And it’s not unique to glow, as you found with the SunLu silk on the pumpkins - those errors at the bottom were caused by the machine struggling to pull and push the filament through the machine.

For the vase mode prints, increase your outer wall width. Even with a 0.4mm nozzle you can easily set 0.6mm. If you can, use a larger nozzle and bump up the outer wall width even further.

Enjoyed this video and the positive vibes you exude in your videos. I have had a challenge with printing some of hte color changing silk plas. I have the PEI textured plate from Bambu and the couple that I have tried to print don't seem to want to stick and end up having failed prints. I am sure it is something I could take care of in the settings but I don't know enough yet to figure out what settings to tweak. So, I mention this because I appreciate your sharing your settings and thoughts of why you are making the changes in these ideos.

A simple temperature change could be the fix. I ran the silks using the bambu silk profile which has a bed temp of 65. Maybe start there and see if that works.

You made me stay up way too late Macy! I usually watch your videos at work and comment when I get home, but I didn't have time today! LOL I haven't tried any rainbow yet as I don't really like the way it changes on layers....but I do think there are uses where it would work great. I've seen some articulating axolotls in a pink rainbow that look amazing! I do like tricolors though...they differ in that they have 3 (there are also bicolor) colors in the same strand as opposed to the colors being 'spliced' together. I think you said (and it looked) the metallic was tricolor. I think it's a great idea to spotlight other creators in this space, you are a kind and thoughtful person to include others in your success Macy!

Digging the color-change silk filament! I think for those pumpkins, I'd give adaptive layer height a shot... I find that helps me a lot when I'm printing models with steeper angles/curves.

Years ago, I found out the hard way that glow in the dark filament tends to destroy nozzles. Turns out that that the powder they put in the plastic, that makes it glow, can be as or more destructive than carbon fiber. I don't know if you swapped the harden steel nozzles on your machines, but if not, I wouldn't run much glow stuff through it, or you will need to replaces the nozzle pretty soon.

so Ok, im figuring this out in real time too. I believe 0 mm/s (10%, 25%) means between 10 and 25% it will not slow down, 50mm/s (25%, 50%) means it will run at 50mm/s between 25 and 50%. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm gathering from it

Suggestion when printing Glow in Dark Filaments is to make sure your using Hardened Steel Nixle not the default Stainless Steel that comes with the P Series of Bambu Printers. They can ruin None Hardened Steel nozzles.

Merci beaucoup for this vidéo :) . I like to see you making things. I MUST to find a tutorial to learn how to use Illustrator, looks to be realy nice software to make desings. I love the desing you did. With my experience i think the Rainbow rolls are not realy easy to use, you must have a vertical objet ton print to see the colors changes. I prefer the rolls with 2 colors in same times you should try it. Hopping you will make nice desings for my favorite day of the year = HALLOWEEN :D, glow in the dark roll can be interesting for it. Can't wait to see your next vidéo. A bientôt :p
