What filter would you use for sucking up water?...When you remove the hepa cartridge, is there somewhere to install a foam sleeve?

That’s not a hepa filter, that’s just a standard filter

Hi! Have you tried using this vacuum to suck up water? If so, did you use a foam filter, or just remove the white filter? If you used a foam filter, would you mind sharing which one you used? The reason I'm asking is that I bought the 8-gal version at Costco recently, and was surprised that the manual tells you to use a foam filter when sucking up water, but they don't include it. The only filter I've been able to find costs $12.99 + 11.99 (approx) for Shipping. That's an incredibly insane price for the filter and for the shipping. Thanks !!

Try using it without a filter and just suck the water out

@@migueltorres79 Thanks for getting back! I'm pretty sure using it without a filter will work, but I don't want to short out the motor (or have some other catastrophe like that happen) since it's brand-new. I think I'm going to buy a foam filter that's too big in diameter for my vac (just about every filter out there is too big), and just wrap the excess around itself. Then I'll use some rubber bands to hold it all together.

(if that doesn't work, I'll try it without the filter, as you stated).

Are you happy with that vacuum? Any issues? I have a 20 year old rigid shop vac. Where the top separates from the drum there is no gasket so small particles wind up on the floor. Suction is great tho. So I'm looking for a new shop vac.

Can you take the wheels off is my main question I'd be looking to couple it with a back pack harness designed for ten gallon shop vacks

not too sure if you could take the wheels off but I'm pretty sure if you want to hook it up to a backpack you can just cut them off if they don't come off

We just watched him install the wheels. If you don’t want them, don’t install them??
