This guy is great. No nonsense. Just get to demoing the tool. We can all read the specs on our own

Right! Specs don't mean a thing cause they all read around the same number but have vastly different results

Great video it’s refreshing to see someone test a tool for its intended use and not try to drive a 8” lag bolt which the tool was never designed for as a tradesman it’s about how the tool feels, control, and balance. Great job

Great video. I just picked up the 850 yesterday at HD. I own Milwaukee, Makita, Kobalt, and Bosch power tools but never had DeWalt until now. It feels like DeWalt is really starting to step up their game and I'm glad I'm finally apart of team Yellow. Enjoy your new impact driver!

So far I’ve owned this same impact for a week , using it nonstop for 12 hours + per day and I’ve gotta say that I’m thoroughly impressed with how well it performs . I actually bought the 809 last week , used it for a day and exchanged it for the 850 because it sucked ass . At first I was a bit iffy about having the different settings , but now after using it for a while I love the #1 setting . I do commercial electrical service work , and the # 1 setting is perfect for loosening up old screws that usually get stripped out if u try to loosen them on full blast or the the heads rip off sometimes . The # 3 setting is great for screwing self tapping tech screws into thick metal or blasting tap cons into hard concrete . PS : I actually like your style of reviewing better than any of the other guys because you seem a hell of a lot more relatable to the average tradesman . A lot of these other channels are just grifters trying to shill shit for whatever company will pay them . Thanks for the good honest review and keep up the good work . God bless

@@castroscorner5832 I can see it now , you’ve got the potential to be the new Tim “ The Tool Man “ Taylor . Plus you’re from Michigan . Now you just need to find a guy who wears nothing but flannel shirts to be your Al Borland .

If you are on speed 1, don't let off the trigger when it stops. It will adjust and take off again. I own one. It's pretty cool when you are driving in screws to a board
