WOW! At 1st I just saw a young man, but after listening to him, and seeing his work with Gold, and carving gemstones, jewelry, etc ... I saw a master, and an artist! His talent is way beyond his years, Bring Nolan back, please. I am now a fan of his work, and want to see more, of his masterpieces. His art is special!

Nolan, you are a gem. From tragedy to healing through the arts… a true and pure example of perseverance for our youth. Thank you for continuing to share your heart through your creations as well as your process so openly. We need more people like you to shake up the industry and keep raising the bar.

What a really great find to spotlight, I think it's really cool to feature craftsmen like this on your channel. If I were super rich I'd commission this guy lol. I love the intricacy and mix of materials of the turquoise necklace, it's like a tiny opulent palace. I went and checked out his Instagram, he has these faceted pieces where he does tiny carvings on the back, they're like cameos but made of gemstone. I know he probably doesn't have them anymore, but would have been cool to see them in the video.

He and his crew are changing the world of jewelry in such a huge way a true Polysmith. Can't wait to see more of what comes off the altered rose engine lathe!

Man, I have been purposefully putting this video off because I KNEW once I seen it, that I was going to want something done in this style. And I can't even imagine the cost of this type of art, I just know it is beyond me. 😭 This young man has an amazing talent and it is people like this who need to be more well known and appreciated for their very tedious, amazing art.

I just remembered that my grandpa used to have jewelry making equipment, I think he made my aunt-in-law's wedding ring? He was planning on making my an amethyst ring, but didn't get to it before his equipment was stolen. It was just a hobby, but I'm curious what he knows and what he could teach me if I got some equipment... I'll have to reach out and talk to him because this stuff fascinates me and I would love to explore that medium.

Sometimes you get lucky. I got a job in a bead store, at 14. You could work young back then, you just lied. Got me started. My next bead store job was with a couple that were incredible. They had classes we could learn for free!! I took a lot of them. Then we got 50% off anything in the store. They wanted us to wear our new stuff, customers got excited, took classes, spent lots of money!! They are brilliant!! He made metal beads, went to all the gem shows. I saw them at a gem show after, 10 years later, thanked them again, for my love of beads!! I hope to see them again, at a gem show!!! I got lucky too...
