My dog that I rescued in 2021 has been diagnosed with an aggressive stage 4 cancer which means palliative care only 😢 She has been laid at my feet whilst working at home, then i have sat with her ever afternoon and evening. @@LinnainJapan Oxo good grips swivel or the Y peeler, greensaver produce keeper [you already have your own great ones, though). Pop storage containers are also good and would be good to store flour, sugar, etc.The cookie medium scooper (good for many things), suction sponge holder for the sink, Stainless steel fish spatula / turner (love this), angled measuring cups, silicone collapsabls collander, 12 inch tongs with silicone head,and I will stop as there are just so many. Honestly, the quality and price are quite good on oxo good grips.

Hi Linna! It was fun to watch you unbox all of your new stuff! It's always so fun to get things online and have them finally arrive at your door. I hope you are staying cool in this horrible heat! My air conditioner has been working overtime lately, it's been so hot. I don't particularly like using the air conditioner too much, but my mom doesn't want to be hot at all lol. I had a tooth taken out the other day, so I am unfortunately in quite a bit of pain and I am rather grumpy because I cannot eat much for a while, but I am healing well and staying hydrated. Glad you’ve made some bug traps. Every July in England they have something called flying in Gants, which is disgusting. They’re regular ants that sprout wings and fly. We have French back doors that open to our back garden and we have to use boiled water to kill them before they enter my house. I feel bad, but that’s all we can do, a part from putting down poison ant powder. Anyway…. loved your new salad spinner, I could use a new one, have had mine for 11 years and I think it’s starting to wear out. Hope you bought some nice coffees or teas! As usual thoroughly enjoyed your vlog, am going out to dinner tonight ( always enjoy that), with my husband and son. Have a great week!

I can identify with being short. I’ve always been 4’11 1/2”. I Never hit 5’! My great grampa & his brothers were all 4’6. I take after them. I love the traps you got. The little house is so cute. Once you get fruit flies, it’s so hard to get rid of them. I’m so sorry you’re having trouble with your plants. Looks like you made an awesome lunch with some of them! I wish I liked coffee. It always smells so good. I just don’t care for the taste. I always am drinking iced black or green tea. Unsweetened of course lol. I love to hear the boys enthusiasm. It makes everything worth it!! Linna, pls don’t be disheartened by others opinions on things. Because, that’s what they are, their opinions. Some people are unkind when voicing opinions, which is hurtful, but I don’t think they really mean to be unkind. It’s just their personalities. Those cherries look delicious!! I never had the bright red ones; we only have the very dark cherries here. I remember as a child we used to hang the ones that were still connected at the stem over our ears as earrings. So silly when you think back to that. I haven't had beef tongue in such a long time. Seeing you make it with the shio negi makes my mouth water. Last time I was in Tokyo the yaki niku restaurant only had pork tongue... I got out the incense against mosquito today. I think a couple came in when my husband and daughter got home from martial arts Thursday and I've been bitten 6 times in 2 days. So I hope this will help. Only now my whole bedroom smells like the incense 😅

@victoriavidaud

Basically, you’re paying taxes to another region in order to get some thing that’s exclusive or best in that region, their top export or something. So you get a nice gift with supporting some of these regions that don’t have as many people living in them to pay taxes to them. It’s a way of making sure that rural communities still get enough funding while giving some nice things back in order to make it worth it. Hope that helps, at least that’s my understanding of it. It’s not mandatory like your normal taxes, that’s why you get gifts. 😊
