Great review! Thanks! I appreciate the side by side comparison with the portrait version too. I work in Survey and GIS in water and waste water utilities. A big thing at the monemt is pushing to have our infrastructure accesible as a "digital twin" type database, so I have been exploring different ways to capture 3D models of our assets that aren't already in 3D, but then also ways to visualise them too. Getting this into our work flow probably wont happen, but it definitely tickles the imagination ❤️

The GO is a good way to investigate the technology at relatively low cost, but they also sell larger "industrial" sized screens suitable for visualization and presentation.

That cat was running at 3 frames per second. This needs to be 6ft tall, wide viewing angle, and actually high refresh rate.

I mean, they make 65" diagonal versions....they just cost a tiny bit more.... lookingglassfactory.com/looking-glass-65

You seem to have the exact same problem I did, you're missing two screws at the top of the back of the device, above the model sticker.

Hey, I didn't notice that those two holes were missing screws (or if I did, I assumed they were mounting holes supposed to be left empty....) Is it a problem? (I haven't noticed the clear case being especially wobbly or pulling away on the back.) Have you contacted LGF about it?

It’s cool but what’s the point?

A) Showing 3D content, or B) Editing 3D content (e.g. while working in Blender), but mostly C) Looking Cool AF.
