A couple of weeks? How on Earth can anyone receive a Tuba in the mail and not sit down and play it for hours and hours? I'll play it if you're too busy LOL.

If you don't mind me asking, I was wondering what you do for a living. Your studio and all the cool instruments seems like it would add up.

You should really try out the Bubbie travel tuba! I'd love to see your thoughts on it.

Hi Dylan! How much do you charge to send a Tuba like this to Brazil?

I don't sell tubas. You'll have to contact Wessex.

From the look I can see the resemblance to the MW tubas. It almost reminds me of a Thor and the low G sounds huge! I look forward to hearing you play it more. What size leadpipe does it use? is it an American or Euro horn? I recall following the Wyvern from once it was confirmed that it would be a production horn from Wessex. I might have to go try one in the Michigan store. Perhaps you could do a comparison between this and the Eastman to show the size difference and sound difference.

It appears to be an American leadpipe, and I do see the resemblance to the MW Thor tuba. I actually like it better than the Thor so far, although I've only spent about 30 minutes playing a Thor. I will size it up to a few of my CC horns for the review...

The low F might be the best I've ever played on a CC tuba. Can't wait to try it side by side with my Bruckner.

What are some things you do to make your tone so amazing?

I try to listen to my tone, especially intonation actively while I'm playing. I also attribute some of my sound to modeling my tuba sound when I was developing as a teenage player to the great jazz singer, Ella Fitzgerald. I seriously love the way she sings. Perfect intonation and beautiful vibrato. I try to have the sound of her voice in my head when I play the tuba.
