Your dad finds really unique items. I loved watching you go through these things. I liked the old brass bath sign, elephants, the big frog on the rock, paper weights, all the knick knacks. I would like to see you start off the auction with all the these items first and then go into the jewelry at the end since you have had auctions with mostly jewelry before.

2 things that caught my attention and gave me a giggle. 1st in the cookbook Paul was reading from there was a recipe for Wilted Lettuce! Lol I think most people can do that without a recipe. 2nd the white box cutter on the table was looking like a pregnancy test for a minute. Lol. Paul did seem to be having baby fever last week. 😂😂😂

Wilted lettuce is a real thing in the south where you have lettuce and green onions from your garden. You pour bacon grease over it and it wilts the greens and is such a wonderful treat. It can't be store bought lettuce, like iceberg lettuce. I guess you could do it with a more hearty lettuce but haven't tried anything but garden grown lettuce.

The few auctions that I’ve been to, people would bid on the bag of jewelry without knowing what was inside. All they knew was that the bag came from an Estate Sale. Also, Amazon has many different types of jewelry displays at very reasonable prices (black velvet post for rings, black velvet bust for the necklaces, and something for the bracelets). It would definitely show off the pieces and increase the bids. Just a couple ideas I thought I would pass along. Irene
