I love how as the show went on it showed Will changing the family from a tight-knit high class and somewhat uptight family to a more loose and fun loving family. Also how Will grew from a wild Philly boy to a mature grown man. This was one of the best TV shows of all time. There'll never be another one like it

Uncle Phil was wise and fun, he reminds me a lot of my own father When my math class had a day off in Junior High School where we didn’t have any lessons planned, the teacher pulled up Netflix and we all had to choose a show to watch for the class At first we were all indecisive, then we saw Fresh Prince of Bel Air and knew what needed to be done

The scene where uncle phil was listening to his classical music and jazz became a DJ in 0.5 seconds, and we all know what happened next, "aaaaaaaaa" right out the house as usual, this is pure 90's classic, nobody could've played "uncle phil" than james avery, he was one of the most talented actors on screen and television appearances, we loved uncle phil, but your fans gonna hold it down for you while you're up there in the heavens chilling with god, just getting a kick watching the reruns of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" you will always be missed, the day he died, the whole day the world was shocked to learned we lost our uncle phil, you wasn't just a television uncle phil to will smith, but our uncle phil, when my time comes, i would like a chance to meet you, but for now, may your wonderful spirit "R.I.P."!!
