Jack King is a flutist from Wilmington, North Carolina. At UNCSA, he studied with Dr. Tadeu Coelho. He is currently a freshman at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University studying with Marina Piccinini.
Jack has performed in several European countries and participated in masterclasses with Demarre McGill, Valerie Coleman, Elizabeth Rowe, and Emi Ferguson. In April 2022 Jack King won the UNCSA Concerto Competition with Jacques Ibert’s Concerto for Flute and Orchestra.
Pianist Robert Rocco is a native of western Pennsylvania, where he began piano studies with his mother at age five. He holds degrees in music performance from Carnegie Mellon and Yale University and was cited for achievement in solfège and music theory. Further studies have taken him to the American Conservatory at Fontainebleau as well as to the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where he earned a certificate in German Lieder accompanying. His mentors included Daniel Pollack, Claude Frank and Eugene List.
