Hey Steve, you’re carrying a big weight my friend. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m a survivor of suicide, still here because of dumb luck and a caring friend. I don’t know you or your dad obviously but I’ll bet he loved you, and I’ll bet he didn’t want to hurt you, or give you grief. For me it was a bad moment, one I couldn’t get myself out of and I did something spontaneous in that moment of deep grief and sadness. Suicide is a hard illness, I’ve since been able to work with folks and talk about suicide prevention and awareness. I’m sorry your dad was taken early, I hope you can feel all that love he had for you and feel it every day.
