Im getting motion sickness watching this video! love the content though, because it brings back many wonderful memories exploring the desert in Nevada. we lived in the Las Vegas valley for over 20 years.

I love your vids! I live in Nevada and have fun just going out finding bones or old artifacts in the middle of the desert. It’s fun imagining the story of how the object got there, even if it’s just a tin can.

If you ever get the chance, visit Cooper Pedy(Central Australia,renowned for it's opal). People have been converting old opal mines into homes for donkies. Interesting place though.

You should link up with and do a video with EWU Crew ("Explore With Us"). They don't do aa much exploration vids as they used to but are practically pros as used to love going out and doing similar kind of content as yours and are still out in that region. Another person to consider is Wonderhussy. Her vibe is a bit different, but she too is always off the beaten path and checking out old mining cabins, etc etc

I would have loved to go more into detail but I promised the person that gave me the location that I would keep it low key to prevent vandalism.

@@RemoteTrooper Yes, total respect for the people connected to or looking after the location. Vandalism is so bad and proper thing to help prevent. But maybe just some general info that the contact agrees doesnt disclose location etc. Like what was mined and milled there. How long it operated and approx years. Although you did say in late 1800s.

Its the by-product of the copper smelting process. It is glass-like when you touch or walk on it and is very rich in iron...
