Hello everyone. As we wrap up our exploration of the CNJ Coplay spur bridge we climb down beneath the west side of the bridge. The span that we are under is how the whole bridge once looked prior to flooding in the 1940s. I was graciously sent a photo of this location from 1931-1932. I will post this in the community section of this channel. It is absolutely incredible! The bridge was constructed in 1884 to alow interchange between the Central Railroad of New Jersey and the Ironton railroad. Still one more video to go highlighting the span that crosses the Lehigh Valley and Ironton railroad beds. Thank you for watching. 8/4/24
