2021 yz450f. Made such a huge difference after I went over all the suspension settings it was like a completely different bike! I'm right at the upper limit of the springs and the bike was very sketchy when I'd get on it hard. I tried lowering the forks and hated it! At 5mm. now and also flipped the handlebar mounts around to bias foward in back holes. Not a fan of the stock tires at all. Putn a Maxxis maxxcross desert IT on the back and IRC ve35 vulcanduro up front!

Awesome video, I ride a 2018 yz250, I ride mainly hard enduro stuff. I weigh 230 pounds with gear. Is my stock springs good enough or what spring would you recommend, I grew up racing mx, intermediate level rider, but now I'm 44 and settled down alot. I also still run the 19 inch rear wheel ( for now). I dont jump big jumps anymore but I do ride very technical terrian with lots of loamy soil and granite rock.

enduro trucker Ernie Desjardins I have a 19 yz250f, have got into the enduro riding myself, made some modifications to my bike. I’m 175lbs, I backed the tension off my rear spring three full rotations, backed off my adjuster screw all the way then five clicks, same on the forks, this made a world of difference, now it has more of the feel of an enduro instead of a mx bike. Fixing to slap on a set of Shinko Cheaters, those tires are amazing, a couple buddies run those, one of which has done super hard enduro in Idaho for years and says you can’t beat those tires. Everybody’s different but just thought I would throw a little advice out there, something that has worked for me

I don’t want really any sag in the back of my bike. Heavier rider 5’11 225lbs. Stiffer spring for a yzf250?
@MxstoreAustralia
Жыл бұрын
A stiffer spring will help, we would recommend taking it to a local suspension tuner to see which one would best suit you as we don't sell springs.

Hey Tyler, GB was given this headlight by Yamaha. He has also added the Ballards Universal Tail Light Extension which you can find on our site 👌🏼

The rebound setting needs to be set at a slow setting, the weight of rider holding on the pegs will make bike fly in air after you hit a bump if it is set at to fast of a rate and you will get no traction cause are flying of the bike!
