Is the water dirty over there? Was thinking about going for sheepshead once the season opens that way and was wondering if you would recommend eating them from that area.

Water is pretty dirty right now from all the rain, but should clean up in the next week or two pretty good.

Good stuff. We regularly fish SD Bay, and do pretty well. Although it’s been slow since the start of the year. I’ve tried fishing Oceanside Harbor several times, and I’m convinced there are no fish there. Next time I’ll try your technique on the break wall. I can’t believe there really are no fish in the harbor. 😮
