Outstanding explanation. Many other art/culture critics can not make this as clear as you do with much more time to do it.

Up to this video everything made sense... Here it seems like you are really stretching it to give Pollock some sort of a deeper meaning that will justify his celebrity artist status... And clearly in the videos yet to come this sort of a skill will become even more necessary as the quality of the art degrades further

Missed the point: m.d. intended the work as an action, something that is done i.e. the action of the hammer and not the object case to resolve with a secondary function - the work does not claim anything proving the point he was making that artworks are things. Previously, aesthetics was the preserve of academics, m.d. added his own example (living as an artwork) as a path for others to follow. Simply a reversion to the earliest notions of art before separate forms were invented - again he invented new forms to prove forms exist because artists create them. In this sense he is a proto-artist with a unique clarity of thought and zero aesthetic appeal in his work. His ratio 100:0

Using terminology from theory of general relativity as a way to draw higher understanding to modern art... I am not sure if I want to buy it, since this analogy/ terminology sounds very superficial. There's really no connection between them at all. The whole hyper-dimensional space / phase space idea is kind of playing of words IMHO. I don't think these Jackson Pollock were really understanding these metaphysical / mathematical ideas. And I don't understand how these mathematical ideas help reveal humanity / aesthetic value. I understand by deconstructionism/ we attain new perspectives of art from realism/ impressionism that was well-explored in the past, but sometimes I can't really tell the difference between artists' painting and childish / computer generative/ elephant painting. Not necessarily the latter are less good by any means, but every abstraction should be justifiable to be accounted as a progression .
