Why would treating hearing loss with hearing aids help to prevent dementia? Don’t get that 🤷♀️

Because not being able to hear properly means that the person is getting isolated and minimizes the social interaction, which in turn leads to a decline in the cognitive stimulation and the brain function would be affected on the long run. Since our brain gets stimulated whenever we use it in listening to music, stories, conversations and works on processing these information and store some of them, in hearing loss all of these activities wouldn’t happen.
