He should also look into nutcracker syndrome and May Thurner syndrome…. If hes looking to be a vascular patient.

difficulty walking , in an absense of vascular obstructive issue Got to be stenosis in early stages. The Doctor probably has not enough expetirnce in looking at the MRI . THe walking ialso as long as he does not have ANY autoinmne issue will place him back to diagnosis of stenosis.

Check uric acid and cortisol/ stress levels. Look at endo contributors. Sometimes the issue is in the journey to these sites or the environment of these sites. Whats the level of inflammation in the body?

Had a similar situation with leg heaviness. I found electrolytes without sugar which was a game changer. Could he be diabetic?

Stenosis feels like walking in water with heaviness and numbness. I feel better hunched over on a cart, otherwise walking around gets difficult. Feet always feel numb and I’ve had a caudal injection but it doesn’t go away. Also get muscle spasms as well.

Doctor I need your opinion/advice. I have May Thurners Syndrome which is a vascular disease. I have horrible horrible low back pain and can only stand or walk for 5 minutes maybe less before I have to sit. I am miserable because it has debilitated my life hugely! I’ve also gained a lot of weight because of not being able to walk very much. I started having pain in the lower back before I was diagnosed with an extensive dvt in the left leg but it is even worse now. I am wondering if it is caused from the facet joints because I went to an orthopedic doctor and he did an adjustment on me and I was pain free for a few hours.

Since he experiences symptoms standing (not supine) is it possible an upright MRI would show something different?

Good question. It's a trade off. MRI int the position of symptoms makes sense, but the quality is typically much lower.

@@BestPracticeHealth Yes I have two labrum tairs in both hips and I have had four back surgeries and when the hips started I had severe pain in my back and my NEUROUSPINE SURGEON. SAID IT WAS IN MY HIPS.. I had the ladicain injections and I it took the pain away immediately....so labrum tairs are worse than hip replacement...it VERY painful VERY..

It has caused major issues with my knee replacement as well when my knee got straight I had really bad issues.. popping unable to stand up from chairs without hips popping walking with my foot turned out...needing arthroscopic of the hip for labrum tairs... Because they said because I'm only fifty-five that they didn't want to do a total hip replacement... All of my issues have come from being in three deadly which I was told I would never walk again... After having foot surgery for a condition called tarsal tunnel syndrome...

Hmm. Have you seen a neurologist who specializes in neuromuscular junction? That's usually the best place to start. If you have and the EMG was negative, then a vascular neurologist is next.
