Automobile manufacturing companies should implement a safety feature which vehicles can automatically shutoff when it detects there was an accumulation of carbon monoxide gas.

@@ashcorvus7004 Indeed, carbon monoxide is an odorless and toxic gas that people should be vigilant and responsible about it. Don’t leave the car with an internal combustion engine on in the garage as the carbon monoxide would leak out and accumulate in the garage, otherwise you or your loved ones would die💀.

Be careful to this, be careful to that, don't forget this, don't forget that. This look complicated for technology that is supposed to make my life easier. 😅 Plus a keyless car are too easy to steal. Classic key if you please.

You should always apply the handbrake first before placing the transmission in park. This prevents the transmission holding the weight of the car and not damaging the pawls inside the the transmission

This is literally the stupidest vid I’ve seen on the subject. And what kind of engineer would design a proximity engage switch and not have it disengage once the trigger (fob) leaves proximity.

Why was there a need to have a keyless car? I don’t get it…Was there a problem using a key? Why complicate things when there is no need.

Came here from a NYT article reporting 36 deaths since 2006 because of keyless cars left running in attached garages.😱😱😱

Steve Waclo most proximity KIM devices do not operate in such a way as described in the vid. There are regulations in the automotive industry where once the fob leaves the proximity, the KIM no longer keeps the “kill switch” from activating. Please link the article you’re referencing. I wonder how many of those Co2 poisoning deaths are the result of a lack of “common sense” as depicted in the vid.

@@divine_swine9665 Distraction happen. With a classic key, you can't forget to turn off the car because you can't take out the key if you don't turn off the engine, you can't even take it off if the car is not on P. Since most people put their house key with the car key, you can't forget to it take off. A classic key don't let you make a mistake.

@@Hannah591 Or...we could just go back to using regular keys instead. Seriously, why is it that everything that used to be so simple and worked so well, has to be replaced with some Rube Goldberg device and/or procedure? Was there a law passed that requires *_everyone_* to be an early adopter?
