The realism in the temple scene is impressive. It's well known that when Howard Carter broke into Tutankhamun's tomb it was lit by already-burning torches and Carter immediately proceeded to kick the shit out of all the pottery.
@Ghost_Enclave
3 жыл бұрын
I know it's a joke, but Howard Carter was an actual archaeologist, while Lara Croft and Nathan Drake, let's not mention the no name from this game, are mere tomb robbers and raid ancient tombs either to further their collection (Lara), or to take the stuff and sell it on the black market for major profit (Nathan). Archaeologists have permits, tomb robbers obviously don't.
@kallemetsahalme5701
Жыл бұрын
be honest games like this would be fucking boring if they were so realistic. all the tombs have already been investigated and are mundane as shit. you could rip even original tomb raiders for how they have light in dark caves and random wolves have lived there for hundreds of years feeding on snow. and yea its weird to think this looks so good it wouldnt fit top 1000 worst games of the decade in retrospect. looks better than even some assassins creed games.
@garethtipton659

Howard Carter wasn't an archaeologist. He was a tomb robber, with a piece of paper that legitimised it, and made it official. He stole , sold and destroyed cultural artifacts that didn't belong to him, the UK, or any "archaeologist."

"Relax, as your elder sister I have always been taking care of you like a baby" That might be the worst piece of expositional dialogue I've ever heard (Excluding any serious grammatical errors and awful voice acting). It's stiff and unnatural, the "joke" she makes out of it isn't funny, and I'm fairly sure that phrase has been uttered only three times in humanity's entire history, including the voice acting for this game.
