Tina, you have shown me the struggles and chaos of becoming a jazz musician and you have won me over with authentic content. You do not have to 'step into shoes' to become anything. You are already all of that and much more. Well done.

Hi! Tina, I have a question, but first, I must admit I have a dilemma, I have always wanted to play the guitar since I was 12 years old. I'm sixty-four. I have been practicing beginner guitar fundamentals seven months. My goal is to become a professional Jazz guitarist. Is it realistic or not.😊

Thanks for being so honest and candid. This knowledge is gold. Thanks for talking about it. Making a living as an artist has become really challenging. When was it not? A lot of educators don't seem to want to talk openly about all the things they are doing to make a successful life in music. It's not easy. So many things have to be balanced. Enjoyed learning about this and hearing your story.

Music and art are humanities...industry and economics are abhorrent entities for ghouls...it is heartening to hear you acknowledge your achievement as a reality...media and hysteria are poison.

Hello Tina! I appreciate your presentation of your inner soul. Love it! I used to walk around small towns near Muenchen, Germany, as well as Olympic Village in Muenchen where limited income folks lived.

Hi Tina, greetings from Hungary! I just wanted to say hi and give you a big thumbs up for this video. I've been casually watching your channel for a while but haven't had a chance to comment before (I usually watch from my phone). I really enjoyed several of your lessons but this video especially resonated with me. Your points about imposter syndrome, inner confidence, etc hit close to home. I think these skills really translate to other areas in our life - not just music. Thanks a lot and I wish you continued success!

maybe the hardest thing to do in music is find your own voice when is your record coming out ? i struggled too, my teacher turned me on to jazz and I lost interest in rock music around 1987 and focused on progressive jazz, fusion, and classical music
