As an American who does not have the ability to go to the NG, this is a really fantastic series mixing traditional and contemporary art in one by getting to know not only your collection but how it influences artists today. This was a great talk. Just loved it.

Thank you very much NG, the talk is really inspiring. And I love works from both artists!

Very courageous of Mahtab to tackle this subject, very interesting strategy to see in work of someone like Moroni an avenue to tackle both racism and homophobia.

Honestly I'm halfway through the vid I just don't really care about the discussion I'm not hating its just unexpected because he seems to be talking about his series more than the actual painting but I am very supported of what he's doing in helping bring awareness to different groups of minorities like me.

I love this painting! However, I was slightly creeped out when I was standing in front of it and an elderly man approached me from behind, whispering into my ear 'he's quite a sight, ISN'T HE?' 😱
