That's a really nicely voiced vibe, has the low end 'throb' that you want but like many modern vibes you do miss out on the foot pedal control. You should try and get ahold of one with an expression pedal option or a Rotovibe and give that a run The 'Vibe' switch just drops the clean signal from the chorus signal, giving you vibrato

Huge thanks for taking the time to share your input on what is a good Vibe pedal. I will try one with an expression pedal in the future to see what it offers. Thanks once again. Regards Kev 😊

@@GigsandGuitars I've actually built a few, both original style (incandescent bulb and transistors) and modern (LED and op-amps) and getting that throb is what sets a good vibe apart generally. The foot control can be really expressive when used right to ramp the speed up and down. I've loved Hendrix since I was a teenager in the 90s so I knew about Uni-Vibe but one sound I remember from that time that I chased and never realised was a Rotovibe and using the foot control to ramp the speed is in the middle of the solo from Pearl Jam's Alive. It's an iconic lick in the solo and you just can't do it right without a Vibe with a foot controller
