Well the fact is a famous face has more followers than a NEW face or entrepreneur on the block. Their conversation will sound boring to 75% humans. In context of business, I am sure 50% of these 75% would definitely like to hear a successful and famous entrepreneur. For eg., if Ranveer had hosted Sir Ratan Tata I bet that video would have had far more views. And if it was Elon Musk, than may be more views than Saif's video.

When He said that when a kid ask questions parents tell him/her that itna dimaag padai me lga marks aa jaayenge. I literally related to it. Back in 8th class I asked my teachers about medicine work in our body like how does medicine know my leg is paining or. My stomach or my hand. Teacher was like don't ask stupid question, but for that 8th class kid it was a interesting question. Even if that's stupid as a teacher you have to help the kid to find the answer. Thanks for this podcast Ranveer.

Some pointers from the podcast: Any society that default respect its elders stays dumb Truth-seeking is hard later in life How will you find individuality without exploration Inquisitive and fundamental understanding is important Pitch your business ideas to dad, mum, grandma, etc, and ask if they will pay for it. If yes then develop an app, the website for larger distribution India did not have an industrial revolution so does not understand the value of time. In India product that will increase stature will make more money than the product which will save time The biggest employer is inefficiency.

I agree with the gist of your summary, but Japan does respect it's society's elders and is pretty advanced and prosperous - so there's a data point to state the contrary. I'm mystified about us not valuing time because we weren't part of the industrial revolution - how did the various other South Asian/Eastern European countries that weren't part of the (core) industrial revolution eventually succeed and supercede us in terms of ease of doing business, punctuality, etc (countries like Thailand, Estonia, Albania and Vietnam)? Please educate me if I have my facts wrong.

Humanity in general will always seek two things : 1) Lust : To satisfy oneself physically 2) Confrontation : For the status quo, ego massage for the mental state in the name of public welfare. We were never short of basics just the above two points were the reasons for the past , present and probably the future.
